Verona Ristorante

The penne was actually quite good, but I was alarmed when my partner ordered linguini and they subbed it to penne without even telling us - I was afraid that they’d absentmindedly tossed on random pasta without realizing it had to be gluten free. Veal was overcooked. Chef’s response was tepid at best - and by that, I mean he didn’t come out to discuss or apologize and told the server to offer us a replacement meal… long after we’d eaten most of it.

To be fair, much of the other food was excellent. The creme brûlée was phenomenal. The gluten free penne and its sauce was quite delicious. I was both impressed and underwhelmed.
