Vicious Biscuit

The shrimp and grits were decent. The biscuits were okay. There’s a lot of choices for gluten free except fried foods. It is a fast casual restaurant chain. I would have liked biscuits and gravy. It was okay for a chain restaurant.

Went here this morning and had a delicious gf biscuit with scrambled egg, candied bacon and white cheddar. The texture and taste was fantastic! It was not crumbly or dry. Bacon has a tiny bit of spicy heat with the sweet. I would go here every weekend if I loved here. Lovely outside patio seating and free refills on coffee! ❤

I had the gluten free biscuit with shrimp and grits. It was delicious! The grits and shrimp were cooked to perfection and the gravy was very tasty. Did not taste heavy. It was sprinkled with bacon and green onions. The biscuit was a more dense biscuit, but very good with the warm mixture over. I was surprised they had mimosas and a few other mixed drinks.

Okay so I used to hate the biscuits BUT they changed the recipe and it’s SO GOOD. I took a bite and had to double check and ask that it was gluten free because it tasted that good! The only downside is they only make a small batch of GF every morning so I would call and place an order before coming to be safe. I had bacon, egg & cheese on mine.

Ok, let’s just say that I read everyone’s review, but a restaurant could be having a bad day. So, I am going to give it a whirl and see if things may have changed. That was SO not the case here. You guys said your biscuit fell apart, and boy it not only fell apart, but they served it that way! Not to mention it was extremely dry! Needless to say, I will not be wasting my money there again. You want a good biscuit, drive the hour and 15 minutes to Myrtle and go to 10/Fold!

Yikes- the GF biscuit is the worst GF item I’ve ever had in my 5 years of being GF…which is saying a lot! That said, the ham and eggs were delicious!

Always excited to try new gluten free things because I have celiac , however if someone ate the gluten free biscuit here and told me “they can’t even tell it’s gluten free” I would laugh in their face, I didn’t get sick so that’s a plus
