Vida bakery is a staple in Ashland. Everything is gluten free and they have a lot of breakfast, lunch and bakery items. I love their carrot loaf and sandwiches.

Perfectly safe- I’m very reactive, no problems! Fabulous food, great coffee, and pleasant staff! All GF, all delicious. Went there for breakfast everyday while in town. The grilled cheese and onion sandwich was lovely, and my partner said the Tuna Melt was “Exceptional”. Personal favourite of the sweet items was the mocha muffin, and the coconut gem cake was also delightful, and not too sweet like some coconut baked goods.

The entire facility was dedicated gluten free. The service was great, and there was a very wide variety of options. The sandwiches were to die for and the cheese bread was fantastic.

Vida is the tastiest and most satisfying gluten free bakery. Love the Brazilian cheese bread, the sandwiches they make with it are to die for. Great sweet treats as well. I wish it was less expensive so I could go there more often, but it’s still worth it. The food is exceptional and celiac safe :)

Very charming spot. Conviently located near parking and downtown Ashland. I had a mocha, a pulled pork sandwich and an almond pear tart. Everything was delicious. The tart was heavenly. The brazilian "bread" is so flavorful and chewy. The pork was good, but next time I might try something else. It was a treat to walk into a place and feel totally safe and have SO much to choose from. I will definately be back. * it is a bit pricey. I spent almost $25 with a tip on my 3 items and the portions were on the smaller side. But it seemed sustainable and the quality was high. 🧡

Stopped here because my bf saw it was gf and thought we could get some sweets for after our dinner. They were pretty empty by the time we got there but we ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie and pistachio brownie. Both extremely yummy! Soft cookie. The lady at the cash register told us her favorite thing was the mocha muffin so we went back in the morning and I got the mocha muffin and my bf got the banana chocolate chip. Both were extremely good!

Not all dairy-free or nut-free, but there were still enough options that met all my requirements. The banana chocolate chip muffin was at least as as good as any I had before I learned I had to restrict my diet.

Gluten free bakery. We stopped while on a road trip and needed something safe to eat. Ordered three sandwiches, while tasty, were very small and overpriced. Also, based on the simplicity of the meals took way too long to prepare, they should also arrange their seating to make better use of the space so more people can sit inside. We probably would not stop here again but if we did would need to order two sandwiches per person. I had to actually look for the tuna in my tuna melt.

Wow… this place is really great. We got banana bread that everyone really liked, and I went back to get lunch. They make their sandwiches with that Brazilian cheese bread, which is really delicious. You can tell it’s gluten free, but it’s still so good. I hope this place is still around next year when I come to Ashland again :3

We stopped in for a weekday lunch a couple weeks ago and I had the salmon/goat cheese sandwich—amazing! We split a lively cinnamon roll and bought a loaf of tomato/basil focaccia so I’d have safe food on our roadtrip to the redwoods. Everything was amazing, I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

100% Dedicated Gluten Free. I wish we could have tried more, but unfortunately most of their items contained dairy (including all of their breads, bagels, etc. so we couldn’t try any sandwiches either).

They do however have a handful of muffins that are both gluten and dairy free and they were so so SO delicious that we went back and got more to take home with us. We tried Lemon Poppyseed, Corn Blueberry, Belgium Carrot, and Sweet Potato Pecan (reminds me of pumpkin pie!). Every single one was sooo delicious! A little spendy, but they’re pretty good sized muffins. Made me wish we could try their bread and sandwiches even more!! Hopefully they offer more dairy free items in the future since most with Celiac Disease also have a dairy intolerance.

Celiac heaven. So many options to choose from and don't have to worry about cross-contamination. Everything I had from there was delicious (tried muffins, cookies, and quiche), and I highly recommend the quiche. The crust is flaky and so good. The people working there are so friendly and willing to lead you in the right direction for fun if you are an out-of-towner, like me.

I hope they one day start boxing things and shipping it out or even selling in stores. And please make some pies with that quiche crust. :)

Stopped by on a road trip and ordered 2 of the grilled ham & cheese sandwiches for breakfast - SO GOOD! If we weren't on a road trip, I would have loaded up with pastries. Everything looked amazing.

Pap de quejo is a particular kind of Brazilian bread made from cassava root, cheese, and eggs. It is moist and delicious with a great texture! I love to get their jalapeño “bagels” and their tuna sandwich. Super safe for celiac; not vegan-friendly. As someone else said in their review, portions are not very large and it is rather pricey, but that is because the ingredients are such high-quality.

They are a dedicated gluten free restaurant, it was actually recommended to me by a waitress from another restaurant down the street. I had the sausage sandwich, it was really good. The one downside is that their portions are small and it’s rather expensive. But it’s super safe and the food is awesome!

Came here mid-day to get some treats for the following morning. We love Pão de queijo so we got to two of the bagels to try: onion and everything. They are not like regular bagels. They are more like the pao in a circle with classic bagel seasoning. We liked it. Also go a couple of muffins including pecan sweet potato. It was really moist and good structure. We are in Ashland a couple of times a year and will definitely be back when we are in town. Glad to have a solid 100% GF bakery to visit

This is my new favorite spot. They have great GF pastries and they are a dedicated GF restaurant. So nice to be able to go somewhere and have a pastry with coffee. The bagels aren’t really very bagel-like but are softer, really delicious and fresh though.
