I grew up eating VIP before knowing that I needed to go gluten free due to a celiac diagnosis. Going to VIP was always a bit risky, even with their gluten free pizza. Originally they had the crusts made elsewhere and were on a separate pan but in shared ovens. Now, the crust has changed to a cauliflower crust made in house and cooked directly in the oven with all other pizzas without a pan. I got so sick from eating it and I will not return to VIP pizza, unless I just order the caprese (tomato, mozzarella and basil with a basalmic vineagrette).
The establishment doesn't train on allergens around gluten and when I would ask about toppings, they were unaware of what was in their ingredients/spices so I knew I was taking a pretty big risk.
If you have celiac or are even slightly sensitive to gluten, I wouldn't recommend ordering their current pizza, as good as it may taste.
My rating is simply for their ability to offer a safe place to eat for those with celiac/gluten sensitivity. The quality and taste of their food is amazing, and should I need to do a gluten challenge in the future, I'd definitely partake in VIP pizza again.

Best gluten-free pizza in the Twin Ports and they take it very seriously. They are also less expensive than other pizza places in the area that offer gf.
