There was one thing on the menu I could eat and it was delicious. If you are going to dinner with a group who all can eat gluten, they will be very happy. My companions loved their meals and have become regulars.

1 GF appetizer, 2 GF salads and 1 GF entree choice on menu. They did offer to modify other menu items as long as some cross contamination is acceptable.

Waitress really tried to make sure my meal was celiac friendly. She spoke with the chef. Asked the right questions. Sadly, my GF spinach salad with grilled salmon made me sick. Think it’s probably a cross contamination issue.

Pretty limited gluten free options, particularly for brunch (server was not very knowledgeable or willing to accommodate by substituting dishes on the menu).

Love this place! Had a delicious salmon with creamy quinoa.
Not a lot of GF options. I got a salad and added chicken and the chicken was very tough, I couldn't eat it. Probably a better place for just a glass of wine at the bar.
The gluten-free enchiladas were outstanding.

Great food but incompetent chef and staff. Mark GF items that clearly have gluten in them.

I highly recommend Virtue Feed & Grain on your next visit to Old Town Alexandria. It’s location next to Waterfront Park is ideal, and the outdoor seating is perfect for relaxing with friends and family over tasty eats and drinks.
Virtue Feed & Grain has a handful of gluten-free menu items. I enjoyed their umami-overload salmon with creamy quinoa and house-made harissa. Outstanding!
Our server, Eddie, was very proactive to ensure I enjoyed a safe and tasty meal. He was knowledgeable of my gluten restrictions. When I tried to order sorbet for dessert (thinking that would be a safe choice), Eddie double-checked with the kitchen and confirmed that the sorbet was NOT gluten-free. I greatly appreciated his extra effort!
Crossing fingers in hopes of even more gluten-free choices when I next visit Alexandria!

The menu had marked gluten free options. Talked to the bartender about the shoshito peppers appetizer and the salmon entree for dinner. said I should be good even if I have celiac. woke up in sick and in pain in the middle of the night. must have been cross contamination somewhere.

1 appetizer, 5 salads and 1 entree are gluten free. I'm going to try the quinoa salad with salmon. I wish there were more gf options.
I had the kale salad with roasted chicken and sweet mustard dressing. So good! All GF options were clearly marked and I felt very safe with my choice.
limited gluten free options, but our daughter didn't get sick, and the manager came over and seemed to understand our celiac concerns. however, the food came out all together, so I feel there may have been a good risk of cross contamination.
Mostly safe. Gluten-free options are somewhat limited and since the menu changes often, no safe "standbys." I've had food here three times, got sick (glutened) once. The food that is safe is good though.

the waiter understood my GF and dairy free restrictions. I had the fish tacos without the taco as I also have type 1 Diabetes and instead of the beans and rice the waiter offered me kale cooked in olive oil. it was delicious! they have GF marked on the menu. 4 stars only because a lot of the GF had dairy though many items I could have the dairy taken off
Excellent management and communication about options.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visits here. The GF options are varied and even include kids' meals.
Delicious food and knowledgable staff. I've been many times and every server understands the severity of celiac, as does the kitchen. I have never had a problem with cross contamination. Gluten Free items are clearly marked on the menu.
