I have mixed feelings about this place. The waiter’s response to my several allergies was: we use soy oil for everything, you can have a salad (the worst thing to hear!). I kept asking questions though until finally he asked the chef and the chef came out. Once that happened, we were able to find some safe options like the guacamole, the carrots, the burger with lettuce instead. Nothing super exciting. The food was well done and I really appreciate the chef coming out to help, but they do not go out of their way to accommodate for allergies with things like gluten free bread or pastas. Very pretty view but I preferred F&B because of their attitude about my allergies.

Tried to eat at this place this past May due to the gluten free reviews and can only agree with the one where the waiter had no idea what Celiac was as when we asked before waiting in line to be seated no one seemed to know if they could serve a gluten free meal let alone a Celiac safe meal. Finally they got ahold of a top manager possibly who said they were too busy to provide a gluten free meal. While I truly appreciate the honesty l question how Celiac safe can it be if they don't have a dedicated prep area, cookware, or utensils. Nothing is worth risking my health and that last person understood that.

Good food (should expect nothing less from Yummys folks). The server suggested vegetarian food when I mentioned celiac 😳. Once we got it figured out, enjoyed the dinner

Our server was VERY knowledgeable about the gluten issue (dairy too). Food was delicious and so very fresh! Don’t get me started on their watermelon margaritas!

I have been to Viva many times and have enjoyed every bite. This is the new restaurant from the owners of Yummies Bistro Everything is from scratch and is easily adapted to GF. The food is phenomenal. I want to work my way through the menu, but keep going back to the same things. I feel like they get me. The food is fresh and perfectly prepared, every time. The staff is amazing, but I wouldn't expect anything less. Go and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.
