GF bread available but shared toaster. Not safe for Celiac like me.
Didn’t get ice cream, can’t speak to allergy procedures.

It seems like for whatever reason the Wagon Wheel has discontinued its gluten free options. I'm celiac and I was told I could have salads or... Some raw avocadoes in corn tortillas. They are aware of celiac and understand how to accommodate it, but they are not able to accommodate anymore. Not sure if that has to do with staff change, kitchen changes, or what. Oh well. Not going to go there again. But if you want ice cream and not dinner, it should still fit the bill.

Delicious food. My son and I are celiac and had no issues with the food. Gf options for gyros, salads, wraps. Fresh and local ingredients. Staff was knowledgeable and kind. Great ice cream! Bonus environmental choices like paper straws and wooden silverware. Lovely spot to sit and for kids to play.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are GF choices. The chef came out to talk to me personally, he was very, very kind. He explained how he cleans the grill for Gluten/Wheat free customers, and he can grill or toast GF bread, english muffins or wraps. They do not have a dedicated GF fryer. They do have homemade hard scoop ice cream. I ordered a GF Udis bread grilled cheese, and iced tea. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great roadside restaurant for families and kids! Take out food and ice cream window too! Thank you Wagon Wheel!
