Wahlburgers

I had a hamburger on an Udi’s bun. The hamburger patty was delicious however the fries tasted dry. (At least they have a dedicated fryer.) This restaurant is located within the ”downtown” section of Owa. A great place to grab a bite to eat and walk around.

Had a great burger in gf bun here. Neat place. The fries are gf as well, but had corn starch which is another allergy that knocked me out of the fries. The area Owa where Wahlburgers is is a great area to explore, especially families with kids. They had an allergen menu and looked up ingredients for me. I would definitely go back.

I got the Our Burger with the GF bun, AMAZING! The sweet potato tots were a wonderful compliment to the burger. Thank you Wahlburgers for the best GF meal of my entire Gulf Shores vacation!

If your looking for gluten free, this is the best! There are only a few menu items that do contain gluten and they're kept seperate! I honestly didn't even realize a difference in the taste!!!

Was so excited to eat there for our daughter with Celiac. Their burgers are gluten free as well as their fries are in a dedicated fryer. She was so happy.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience here!!!! Took celiac disease serious. Waitress was very accommodating and the manager even stopped by our table to be sure I felt great about everything!!! Would definitely recommend!!! I had the our burger with a gluten free bun and fries with the Wahlberg sauce. Also had the tropical peach sangria!!! Everything was perfect and not at all sick after eating here! Definitely eat here!!!!

We went here while we were on Spring Break and it was wonderful!! My daughter and I both have celiac and neither of us had any issues with the food. The fries are made in a dedicated fryer and are so good! They have gluten free buns as well. Great atmosphere and great food!

They had several gluten free options: burgers,tater tots and sweet potato tots (GF and they use a separate fryer), GF buns. I got the Wahlburger salad- cheeseburger cut up in a salad with chopped homemade pickles, tomatoes, and onions. All sauces/dressing are GF. Make sure that you tell your waiter or waitress the you’re eatIng GF to make them aware. Our waitress was knowledgeable and accommodating w/out it being a big deal. The food is truly delicious!

GF bun was toasted and delicious for my burger with easy GF designation as it came in a paper tray in the basket so you know it had separation in preparation. I’ll def go back.

Hostesses and our waitress had no clue about what gluten free means/is about. The manager on duty was knowledgeable and assured us that the kitchen was safe and the staff there would keep our food gluten free. The hostess brought the fries and put her fingers in the paper cup used to serve them. I gave that one to my son who is not celiac and grabbed the rest of the fries before she could do the same. Food was awesome...proceed with caution...we did not get sick... they could educate their staff a tiny bit, if they are going to continue serving GF items. We will definitely try the one in Georgia where we live.

We are not celiac although need to avoid gluten for other health related. I felt so spoiled having a bun for my burger, for the first time in months. To early to tell if we will have reaction. Grateful to have a place to eat out that makes an effort to have flavorful food for those of us that are sensitive.

Went here our first time and food was good and my celiac son did not have any issues. So we went back a few days later and he was very ill within an hour. Not to mention this time the food wasnt nearly as good. Inconsistent and careless.

Delicious gluten free bun! Burger cooked to order and great fries! Knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back.

They have gf buns, bread and croutons. Dedicated fryer for gf fries and tots. They are very knowledgeable and helpful! Sorry to say the bun fell apart but everything else was excellent. Manager brings gf food out separately.
