Review of Wakefield Tavern

Waitress seemed to know about gluten allergies and guided me away from items marked gluten free but were cross contaminated by the fryer. Told me the loaded potato soup was totally safe so I got a bowl and have been extremely sick since. Wish I had read the more recent reviews as we hadn’t been in several years so the quality control is clearly not the same priority it once was.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?
