I checked my nima sensor if their Injera is gluten free and gluten was found. I would not recommend coming here. I think if they label something gluten free and it is not then it questions their other items as well. Server did not have much knowledge on gluten.

This place is amazing. Get the gluten free injera, and you can have pretty much anything.

I eat here every week and this is literally the best food I have ever tried. Ethiopian food is a blessing for people with celiacs and I can assure you that Walia does it best. Just get the GF injera with your meal and you are all set. I would recommend the Lael combo as a great introduction but honestly everything on the menu is delicious. A few options are spicy (chicken juicy tibs) or mild (doro/misir wot) but just call if you are concerned about it.

The food was great and their gluten free injera didn't disappoint. I am grateful this place can accommodate that request.

The staff was knowledgeable and I didn’t have any issues. They made sure I got the GF injera (which was delicious) and everything else was already GF.

Definitely celiac friendly, though the menu didn’t state, the server knew well and my wife enjoyed the dinner (during and after). Friendly, full of spices and taste, a real pleasure. Better get on the waiting list before you reach it!

This used to be a go-to spot for gluten free food for me, but the last time I got takeout I was sick for 2 weeks. Even though they said the injera was gluten free and they charged me $2 extra for it.

Ethiopian food is served on an injera “pancake” with additional injera used as a bread to eat the meat or vegetable dish. Interesting flavours (although a little salty for my taste - hence the 4 stars). When you order make sure you specify the gluten free injera - this is made from teff flour (the traditional way of making it). Enjoy!
