Although the menu did contain GF options, the server was not very knowledgeable when inquiring about available sides. She told us that the fries were GF and they were most definitely cross-contaminated. If you eat here, be careful and consider the risks.
First time visit because of rating on this site. We were excited to try some new gf food, but were disappointed overall. $2 addtl charge for each gf roll (which was actually just a microwaved gf hamburger bun). The prime rib sandwich was not tasty to hubby...it was small and bland. I got the cornmeal perch and sweet potato fries. Fries were good, perch just OK, not seasoned. Daughter ordered chicken nugget bites appetizer off regular menu...she didn't care for them...again, bland. Side note: was told by waitress that although perch and s.p. fries were on the gf menu, that they are actually cooked in a common fryer...therefore, not gf! No problem for me, since hubby is the one with the allergy, but he was disappointed thsthe had to change his side order. While the service was great, wait was very minimal, food was not worth a return visit...ever.
I didn't realize that this restaurant had a gluten free menu until we got there. There were many options from dinner entrées, salads and sandwiches (with GF rolls). I decided on the Prime Rib Sandwich with Sweet Potato fries and man was it GOOD!
This place is close enough to where we live, so I know we will go back again and again.
