I ordered a combo of sushi/sashimi
from the GF menu to share with my husband. I specified that I had celiac and it needed to be treated like an allergy. The four of us at the table were brought salads and miso soups. I already knew to avoid the soup based on someone else’s review. I almost ate the salad but decided to wait several minutes for the waitress to check on us, and ask if the salad was GF. She said she wasn’t sure about the dressing. 😬 So glad my intuition made me check!!
Later we were brought our sushi, but not GF soy sauce. Again I waited several minutes for someone to flag and asked if they had GF soy sauce, and he brought me a bottle. The sushi was delicious and I’ve had no issues. I normally react within a few hours if I do.
So, I’m glad to find a place locally to enjoy sushi, I just had to work a bit for it. 😅

Really great edamame! They have a well-marked menu and my server was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed my sushi and did not get sick.

One of the Best sushi restaurants in the Triangle anyways (gluten free ratings aside). They do have a separate gf menu that’s extra helpful and there is quite a large selection! Some rolls are just simple modifications without sauce. Just ask your server for the gf menu and specify your allergy. Our particular server was so kind and helpful. Also THEIR COCKTAILS are unreal. so. Yummy.

Sick immediately after, felt it after the miso soup. So it was probably that.

The best sushi I have ever had! Great wine selection and a huge GF menu. GF soy sauce as well! I can’t wait to go back!
Gluten free menu! Great sushi, very tasty. They have GF soy sauce too. Did not react.

I love their separate GF menu, and the staff is friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The only weird thing is one waiter said the miso soup is GF while another said it isn’t.

Safe to eat but be sure to mention you need GF/“allergy”. Most of the GF menu consists of sushi/maki. The quality is good but I wouldn’t say it was the best Japanese food I had considering the price. They don’t have samples of GF soy sauce if you do takeout (they gave me regular soy…)

Gluten-free menu has way more options than I expected. They brought GF soy sauce to the table, and the waitstaff was very helpful. Delicious fresh sushi!

The menu was marked with gluten free and we double checked when ordering... but then they put it all together in the same box with non gluten free sushi so I couldn’t eat it. Total waste and expensive too.

Great sushi and experience! They do have a "rice beer" but it is NOT gf. However the sushi was unbelievably delicious!!
