Wasabi Sushi

Sushi is fresh and delicious. We go every week :)

Please don’t go in expecting them to tell you the “safe rolls” or having knowledgeable waiters. Dining in, I’ve noticed they look at me confused when I say “gluten free.” With takeout, the individuals who do that always know to mark the order with “gluten allergy.” If they at first don’t understand “gluten” I tell them to give me regular rice, change their gloves and then they understand. They also have gluten free soy sauce and once they understand, will offer that in a dish brought out to you. Their yum yum sauce is safe too. Stick with simple rolls, nothing fried or imitation. I go with salmon, tuna, veggie, etc. Because it’s with regular rice, the seaweed is wrapped around the outside of the roll instead of the inside. There has only been one instance where I ordered a spicy tuna roll and they brought it out with some crunchy looking stuff on it. I notified them, they brought me the correct roll, and I did not get sick. Overall, I do recommend the place. You may have to work with the waiter but once they understand, they will bring you a safe meal. Personally, the take out option has always been better for me.

Know my by my name and immediately know not to use sushi rice when making my sushi. Always change gloves and utensils. Occasionally will get a rude server if they're new. But owners have always been very understanding! I suggest a jb and ask for regular rice instead of sushi rice to be safe!
