Such a delicious, wholesome menu that notates Gluten Free. They also have dedicated gluten free fryers but make sure you specify to use them to make sure they are going that night. Great value, great service, great food. We’ve always been well cared for and enjoy the atmosphere each time we’ve been. They also have a pretty good selection of gluten free alcoholic beverages to choose from. Very clean and safe. I’ve never gotten sick from this restaurant.

Wepa cafe serves authentic Peurto Rican food and are very celiac friendly! The staff was very welcoming and had a strong understanding of celiac disease. Gluten free items were also clearly labeled on the menu. If you let them know, they will create a safe space to prepare your food. Although, fried food is not 100% gluten free, as it is made in a shared frier, but for some fried dishes, they can cook it in a separate pan for you! I went here with my mother who is also allergic to onions and they were super accommodating to all our needs! I highly recommend for a tasty and fun experience! Oh, they also have a rooftop balcony!

Service was good and food was tasty, on another app it'd probably deserve 5 stars, but I've been the worst reaction I've had in years after eating here. Ordering online did not have GF tags, but even after ordering gf stuff according to the menu photos in this app I'm guessing it was not actually GF - I've never had this violent of a reaction from just cross contamination before. Not gf friendly at all, other people who rated this 5 stars must have gotten lucky

Honestly, such good food. So fresh!

We ordered takeout, which was a pleasant experience. Nothing was marked GF (despite marking when ordering online), which gave me some pause, but turned out fine.

Food is so delicious and staff is very aware and careful with gf prep. I tested a few items with Mt nima just to be totally sure as I am extremely sensitive and all came back safe! They recently added a gf fryer so more options on the menu.

Gluten free items were marked on the menu. If you inform your server, they seem knowledgeable about cross contamination. Everything tasted great and I felt fine afterwards. I had the Yuca Al Ajillo which was delicious, and they also have some local wines available.

Superb meal, knowledgeable staff on GF issues. Please inform your waiter on your GF statis and they will guide you. Menu is well marked. Beer and wine are available.
