West Avenue Grille

Although the restaurant has a Gluten Free menu, it does distinguish on the menu between items that are and aren't subject to cross contamination. One one hand they emphasize their GF pancakes, but on the other hand, cook it on the same grill as non GF pancakes. When we requested they cook it in a separate pan, they indicated (but did not explain why) cross contamination would be an issue, and suggested we get the omelette instead. The omelette is cooked in a separate pan.

This restaurant is not celiac friendly. they have the gf pancakes on the same skillet as the regular pancakes, the meat is cooked on same grill as grilled cheese, the only thing is eggs and there is still a huge chance of cross contamination. The waiter was not educated on the gluten free process of the restaurant. i would not recommend this place if you have Celiacs or very bad gluten allergy/intolerance

Best gluten free pancakes served all day!!! Recently updated they gfree menu but it still has a few old items on it, such as nachos. Food is good though and I will always go for a good gluten free pancake with a side I sausage!!
