Wezzy's Ice Cream

As stated below, Hershey’s ice cream and marked what is gf. Only had waffle cones but that’s not a big surprise. My daughter enjoyed her ice cream and had no reaction.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They do have hersheys which are labeled gluten free clearly. However watching them scoop into waffle cones over the tubs I saw some crumbs going in while waiting. I explained I have celiacs and asked if possible to have a clean scoop out of a fresh tub. They told me a clean scoop was a possible but they weren’t willing to open a new tub and risk freezer burn. So I appreciate they were honest but left empty handed

Ordered a GF ice cream and ask for a cup...the girl scooping put it in a waffle cone when the other young girl who took my order told her it was supposed to be in a cup because of a gluten allergy she slung the ice cream back in the container from the cone and when I requested a different ice cream because of she was very argumentative. Very disappointed and distasteful on her part. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT GO BACK!

Ice cream flavors are clearly marked on menu as gluten free. I guess because of COVID they are only scooping the ice cream into cups and not cones which is nice for us celiac people. I didn’t have to worry about cross contamination from the cones because they just place them on top of the ice cream in the bowl if people want them.

The cappuccino crunch is delicious! They have a very good variety of GF ice cream.
