Review of White Horse Tavern

26 Marlborough St, Newport, RI 02840

Overall Rating

Review

Excellent experience overall, felt very safe eating here. Excellent food quality and service too. For Celiac, both the manager and chef are well aware of necessary accommodations to avoid cross contamination. The french fries are the only deep fried item on the menu; the menu is subject to change a bit every so often, so be sure to confirm that fries are still GF. They had many gluten free options and can accommodate gluten free preparation for most dishes. Both the manager and chef have their emails listed on the restaurant's website. I emailed the manager before going and he was very helpful. The chef has a very high degree of culinary acumen and is very accommodating to those with food allergies.
