Leading up to our trip I had a couple breakfast places in mind to return to; however, after reading the reviews here we decided to rearrange our plans and try the brunch buffet at 8 am on Friday. We got there at about 8:20 and there was no line. The food and options were amazing! So, so good. I was so full walking out of there. We even cancelled our reservations for Saturday and returned to Wicked Spoon.
You are allowed 90 minutes for the buffet, which we found to be plenty of time. On my first day a chef walked me through the buffet and confidently explained each of the items that were GF and those with an increased risk for CC. I tried a little bit at every station. It wasn't until day 2 that I realized I could request a special GF French toast be made for me. The chef at that station was happy to oblige.
The cookies looked like they were going to be dry and stale, but to my pleasant surprise they were DELICIOUS. The most real tasting chocolate chip cookie I've had in a long time, although, admittedly, still a bit dry.
I wish I wasn't so full and that I could have tried ice cream (slight CC risk for those who do not come first thing in the morning.)
We will return again sometime, but until then, it's what dreams are made of! GF options galore!
