I usually avoid buffets since the risk of cross contamination tends to be high but the other reviews here covinced me to give The Wicked Spoon a try. We asked the first employee we saw at the entrance if they could accommodate Celiacs an she immediately answered our questions knowledgably. She told us to ask for a "Chef's Walk" when we paid (payment is in advance) and so we did just that. After being seated, a chef arrived at our table within a couple of minutes; confirmed that I was celiac; and took us for a personal tour of the bufett. He pointed out not just the items that are GF (marked on a card beside each dish) but also those items that could be made GF to order (example: the salmon dish has a sauce that contains wheat but could be cooked specially for me without the sauce if I wished). He was highly knowledgeble about the ingredients on every dish (and there is a huge selection). There was plenty of variety to choose from - I tried lamb, shrimp, crabs legs, an omelette, roast veggies, soup and many other dishes. Plus, three GF deserts to choose from including the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever eaten (the chef said it was far better than the reguar one!). Of course, as a buffet, the chance for cross contamination exists but I felt that the Wicked Spoon took enough precautions to make me feel comfortable eating here. Plus the service was super-friendly.
