I have a chronic illness that is triggered when I eat wheat/gluten. I went to this restaurant tonight with some friends and got the all you can eat sushi. I told them I have a bad wheat allergy and was told they had a gluten free list. I ordered a bunch of rolls from the list and all were fine, until the last roll I got called the Philadelphia roll. It's listed as gluten free, but upon eating a couple of bites, I noticed there were bread crumbs/fried breading inside this roll, even though it was listed as a gluten free option.
My server seemed a little oblivious/naïve to the whole gluten allergy thing and mentioned that she was supposed to tell the kitchen is was gluten free, but forgot to tell them. The fact they even have it listed as a gluten free option when it's all up to the server to let the kitchen know is pretty concerning to me. They obviously don't take the health of their customers seriously here. Now I get to go home and potentially crap blood for the next month or two. If you're allergic to wheat, I recommend against coming here.
Otherwise the food is pretty good and the service is fine. Average wait time for your food (20-30 min). The average Joe should enjoy this place.
