Great Staff and offerings, however this place is only passible if you have an intolerance. Any celiacs should be extremely cautious as the cross contamination is so high.

I walked in and was going to order food based on previous reviews but the cashier said “everything in here is contaminated“ and essentially talked me out of eating there. Not celiac safe, but very friendly

I am always so pleased to find a place where I can get GF takeaway! Got a sandwich to go, ate it on a bench, and kept it moving!

The people working here are very nice and super helpful. The place does make me a bit nervous (breads dusted with loose flour in the bakery area) but i guess their protocols are pretty good because I didn’t get sick after having a breakfast sandwich (which was very fresh and great with goat cheese!). I would say it’s worth checking out (good deals on a lot of items in the frozen/grocery area), but clarify for cc when ordering because this may be a riskier place to eat at. Loss of one star because the protocols could be a little clearer for peace of mind.

I love this place. The only bfast place I know in Ottawa where you can get an order of gluten free toast. But BE CAREFUL...The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that their bakery lists a number of items as being "wheat free". However these are made with spelt flour. Of course anyone with gluten issues knows spelt is a species of wheat. I tried explaining this to the server who argue with me that I was wrong. That spelt was not wheat. Signs could be clearer to ensure people knew to GF, or buying for friends actually understand that when they are buying wheat free from this bakery, that's not actually the case. To be safe stick to the ones that say "gluten free".
