We called in advance and spoke to the kitchen manager. it turns out that the head chef can’t have wheat and so they have several years of experience dealing with this. they hand cut fries for my six-year-old and shallow fried them in a pan with fresh oil. All of the steaks can be safely made because their grill doesn’t get any gluten on it. Likewise, they were able to guarantee that side of vegetables was gluten-free. So between fries, steak and vegetables we had a complete meal for my daughter. It’s clear they were very cautious and understood what celiac is
that said, this is not a dedicated gluten-free restaurant by any means. Even their usual french fries have a wheat coating, hence the hand cut fries. What this means to you is that you should call ahead and make sure that it’s not a particularly busy period for them. We went on a Thursday evening during March break, so in principle, it should be a busy period but it wasn’t that day, maybe because it was rainy. They’re more than happy to help and accommodate it’s more of how spread thin they might be
