The bakery is excellent. They have egg free, gluten free bread. They get a 4 because they close too early for me.

Not a review. I just read in their website that the cafe will permanently close on December 23, 2015. Sweetery will remain open.

The Cafe had really tasty sandwiches and bowls with gluten-free and non-gluten free vegetarian and semi-vegetarian food. Just be sure to ask for gluten-free bread if you are sensitive. The servers are supposed to ask, but ours didn't. That said, the service was good, the environment was comfortable, and the clientele clearly loves having a restaurant with a good gluten-free menu available in the Folsom area.

The Sweetery is entirely gluten-free. We've tasted four of the six things we bought. The cookies were good, but tasted a little like the sugar was slightly burned. The cranberry/chocolate desert was very good, but the cinnamon crumb cake takes the cake so far.

All in all, a terrific place to eat whether you require gluten-free fare or not. We will be back!!

This review is for the bakery only. Best gluten free goodies in town! They are so delicious even my husband loves them, and he refuses to touch most gluten free baked goods.

Bakery items are fantastic and reasonably priced for Gluten Free.

I didn't have time to stay for lunch but the menu looks amazing.

Bakery is closed Sunday, Monday do plan ahead.

Food was very over-priced for what we got. Gluten free sandwich bread was very dry and dense. Gluten free German Chocolate Cake was very good. They also charge extra for gluten free substitutions. Probably will not eat here again.

I ate here yesterday with a non-gf friend. My turkey cranberry sandwich was pretty good but had too much turkey and not enough sauce for my liking. The salad was good. The server told me everything on the menu can be made gf. It was clean and nice inside and I'll definitely try it again.

I love just about everything on the menu! The selection of gluten free desserts are the best, brownies & blondies (yum).

Willow Cafe & Sweetery is a great new restaurant that is very accommodating to those of us that have to eat gluten-free... You can feel comfortable knowing that if you request "gluten-free", your meal is going to be gluten-free. They have great staff, inviting atmosphere and awesome food! Oh, and if you have kids, they have a staffed "kids room" to keep them entertained (if you need a little break).... this comes in handy sometimes!
