Willy's on the Water

Willy’s on the Water gets a lot of hype in the area, mostly due to the lack of competition. There was a little confusion about the gluten free options on the menu and we had to speak with the head cook. We also got the line, “we can’t guarantee anything is completely gluten free.” However, the cook told us she handles GF requests for celiacs often and will make sure the mean is prepared correctly. We weren’t overwhelmed or overwhelmed with the food. Drinks were kinda expensive, too.

— Good

I ordered nachos which were on the gluten sensitive menu. They fried the chips in the regular fryer after I told the waitress two separate times about my gluten allergy. Be careful they don't know what they are doing there.

Very knowledgeable staff. They have excellent options on the menu via QR code. I’ve eaten at Willys on the water numerous times and yet to have any problems. I have had celiac disease for well over 10 years so I know how important it is to have a safe option. As far as the nachos, they fry them in the morning with clean oil. So I have found them to be safe.

The food was good. There is a QR code on the menu to take you to GF menu options. Designated fryer for fried foods. I am Celiac and had no reaction to my food!!
