I love this place. The French fries are in a separate fryer and are delicious! The London broil is also great. I’ve eaten here often and I don’t think I’ve ever been sick.

Gluten free menu. Order led the Filet and mashed potatoes and green beans and a Caesar salad to start just with no croutons. Very good filet and food overall.

Love this restaurant - had the rotisserie chicken and the ahi tuna salad( minus dressing) with no problems many times they are very good with allergies

I had shrimp and grits and it was pretty good. It was very expensive though. No adverse reactions.

Has an extensive GF menu and a dedicated fryer. Wait staff was knowledgeable and checked with chef on questions. Great place for quality, sit down lunch or dinner that can be enjoyed by all. Been in business since 1986 so they are doing something right!

Though they have a dedicated fryer, it’s entirely dependent upon if they’re offering a fried side, such as fried asparagus, in which case it’s not a dedicated fryer. You have to ask each time you visit. That’s annoying, but they have a large GF menu and I’ve never had CC issues. The wait staff is always highly cognizant. One even brought me a side of fruit while others had bread as we waited for dinner, without me asking or expecting that. It was very thoughtful.

Food is delicious and they have a gluten free menu

I always have a great meal at Winston's! They serve delicious gf bread for a small charge pre-meal and they do have a separate gf menu (be sure to ask). Their flourless chocolate torte is quite small (definitely not big enough to share lol) - this is my only disappointment.

I ordered the ahi tuna salad and stressed that I have celiac disease and my salad needs to be prepared gluten free, so no crispy wontons on top. My salad came out with the wontons and I told the person who brought my food out this was incorrect and I have an allergy. Instead of taking it back he asked if I told my waitress, I told him I had and I need a brand new salad because I will get sick since the crispy wontons touched my salad. It suspiciously came back two minutes later, I asked him if this was brand new and he told me yes. After I took two bites and then mixed the salad around I saw there were more wontons under the lettuce. Completely ridiculous! The manager apologized and told me he was in a meeting as the food was being prepared but unfortunately I had to leave the table to be sick. Just a totally 100% avoidable experience. Wait staff need to be trained on cross contamination and the seriousness of celiac. I had to miss 3 days of work over 2 bites of a salad.

I was surprised by the earlier comment with the salad. I have celiac disease and eat here at least once a week and as long as I stay with the gluten-free menu I haven't had any problems. I would highly recommend this place. Just be sure the server or manager knows and you order off the gluten-free menu.

We dined here tonight with complete confidence that our order was gluten free. The manager spoke with us, explained how they keep cross contamination from happening, followed our order through the kitchen, then checked on us several times throughout the meal. We even had a delicious gluten free appetizer that was on the house. Our food was beyond amazing. They have gluten free fries, bread, a chocolate torte, and homemade ice cream. We will definitely be back!
