Need to ask for chicken and meats to be steamed!!!!!! Or else they will flash fry! They try their best but I no longer feel safe eating here after multiple incidents

ATTENTION: OWNER and CELIAC PATIENTS I found WokChow 1 yr ago on Find Me Gluten Free web site. I have biopsy proven Celiac and was looking for a more affordable place than PF Chang. WokChow was great for about 9 months and I have driven 40+ miles from home just to eat here because I didn't get sick from ingesting gluten. However, my last 3 visits I did get very sick from gluten and not only that the food was poorly prepared. The steamed rice was not fresh the flavor of lettuce wraps was bland and the spicy wokchow chicken was not good. Yesterday was my last visit. There has been a turn over in staff, I spoke with the young and professional acting young man that took my order about getting sick during my meal from gluten. He then turned my complaint over to young blond with long hair that was acting like she was management. She advised me that she could tell by looking at my food that it was gluten free. I ask for a refund on an order I placed to go because I will not be able to eat for at least 3 days because of my immune response from what I injested at WokChow. The turnover in management and cooks has really hurt Wok Chow as they have permanently lost a customer!

Unknowledgable staff told me that the gluten on fried food is burned off in the oil and that their woks also burn off gluten. I've gotten sick both times I've eaten here. Other than gluten free features, they've messed up my order and been rude about correcting it.

We were passing through Knoxville and had to find a safe place my my daughter and I to eat. The staff was nice and patient (we take a long time to decide things). My daughter got the spicy tuna sushi, which she was was great, but not as spicy as she expected. I got the moo goo gai pan, and we shared the calamari. They were great! My husband had the sweet and sour chicken of the regular menu, and my son-in-law built his own dish and they were both very pleased with their meals. Not gonna lie...kinda jealous we don't have this at home :)

Started with the salt and pepper calamari. It was very fresh and tasty. The spicy chili dipping sauce was a nice compliment. For the main, I had the Spicy WokChow with shrimp. The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce was the right amount of spicy. The appetizer arrived within minutes of sitting and the food shortly after. It was a good dinner. I will be back to try the other GF options.

From what I could tell the food was delicious and gluten free. Now I don't always feel my celiacs as others do, but they seemed confident to do gluten free and they do say on the menu there is always a possibility of cross-contamination. Which is pretty much every single restaurant, so eat at your own risk, but it was a good experience for me!

I stopped here on the way home from Gatlinburg and it was so good! The portions were HUGE and I didn't get sick, not even slightly. Will definitely be back when in the area.

The food is great, huge portions, but makes me sick every time. I don't have celiac but I am gluten sensitive and I still get sick. So sad!

I ate here when in Knoxville one day and ordered the calamari and fried rice. The portions were huge, but the food tasted odd. The fried rice was sweet, not savory, which was odd. The gluten free calamari was slimy and chewy even though it was deep fried. After eating there, I got very sick. The kind of sick I get when exposed to gluten. I would not go there again or recommend to anyone. The food was not good, and it is definitely not Celiac fiendly.
