Best GF brewery! 🙌🏻

All of Wooden Robots Beer is Gluten “Reduced”. It is < 10 ppm. Which is just like any GF beer you would buy in a bottle or can! I have never gotten sick. They don’t have their gluten free license, so they can’t legally say that they are Gluten Free.

Though… make sure NOT to get any of their collaboration beers that are with a different brewery when they have them because those are not GF. But, they always state which beers are not Gluten Reduced.

Unfortunately, the reviews listed on this site are quite misleading. It is not gluten-free but gluten-reduced, which Wooden Robot acknowledges. However, after having one IPA I was quite sick the next day as a moderately sensitive celiac. I only gave it a shot due to other positive reviews for which I recommend being EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS about. It is probably only good for the gluten sensitive and not the true celiacs, hence the 2 stars.

Additionally, the kitchen is most certainly NOT CELIAC friendly. All sandwiches are prepared in the same space with the regular bread. No shared frier. Finally, you can look back in the kitchen and there is flour everywhere. Not safe for celiacs to eat here.

Like many others, this is absolutely my favorite place to go. It’s the only place where I feel like what I’m consuming is 100% safe and gives me a sense of normalcy. Pre-gf days I loved spending my weekends at breweries and struggled feelings normal or having my sense of community when I couldn’t enjoy that anymore. All of their beers are delicious and they have some of the best gluten free food in the city. Plus the staff is always amazing and they just opened a coffee bar as well. I’d spend every day here if I could.

This is me and my wife’s absolute favorite place to go. We travel an 1.5 to come here on Saturday’s.

All of their craft beers(not any collaboration ones) are gluten reduced. HOWEVER, I am a very sensitive celiac but I just wanted to give it a shot cause the owners wife had celiac and she can drink all the beer.

I have never had a single reaction to their beers and let me tell you, they taste like real beer. It’s amazing. Additionally the last time we went they have all their food now marked as to what is and is not gluten free(GF burger bun!).

11/10. Legit my favorite place to go to for the day.

All beers (except collaborations) are gluten free. Really great beer too. They have food, but not a ton of gluten free options.

My favorite place! Brewmaster's wife has celiac so they craft almost all their beers to remove gluten. Sometimes when they have collaborations with other breweries, the beer may not be gluten free, but they always note that on the menu. NOTE, they don't advertise any beers as gluten free, but most of them are. They told me that when they started advertising as gluten free, their sales dropped. So now they don't tell the gluten lovers about it, but still make the gluten free beer. I am pretty sensitive Celiac but have never had any issue with any Wooden Robot beer. Sorry I don't know about their food menu, just go for the drinks:)

Celiacs here. Had a beer. Apparently all of the beers are gf! Had one and was fine! Super sensitive here too!

ALL BEERS ARE GF. They are “gluten reduced” BUT all have 5-15 ppm of gluten. As a celiac this is ACCEPTABLE because certified gluten free must be less than 20 ppm. Apparently the owners wife is celiac and he wanted to make it a place where she could go and be a normal human. As a celiac myself, I enjoyed multiple beers and did not get sick. The bartender assured me he had several celiac clients that have never complained of being sick. I also got their flat bread which was amazing. It was so nice to feel like a normal person... I even got to try the beer my friends were having. What a place!

Celiac friendly. Brewmasters wife has celiac. All the beers are fantastic and you aren’t limited at all by being GF. Only brewery in Charlotte that offers GF beer (trust me I’ve tried them all)

I don’t order the beer here because it’s gluten reduced (I’ve never tried, but I’m nervous about it). The ciders and wines are all great though and I’ve never had a problem!

All beers gluten free! It’s a good environment, and so fun to try beer that I haven’t had the chance to try before.

Their beer is made from oats so hubby, who is celiac and allergic to sorghum could enjoy! The attached gastropub had awesome gf foods too. All servers were super accommodating and knowledgeable. We had mussels and Brussels— soooo good!

OMG. Paradise. A brewery where I can drink ALL the beers? I just want to walk around and ask all the bros if they like gluten free beer cause they have no idea lolllzz
