After many many months of eating all my meals in, I finally worked up the courage to try a restaurant meal. I found this place here, attempting to take as many precautions as possible to avoid gluten exposure. I was severely disappointed.
I had the coconut curry bowl with shrimp 5 days ago. I am still recovering from gluten exposure. I ordered via grub hub and noted on the item that I have gluten sensitivity. It looked and tasted amazing, but my reaction was the most severe I have had in the 9 months since I learned of my sensitivity and going gluten free. My partner prepares gluten in my kitchen, so I know I am not so sensitive that cross contamination is a major issues for me. I really do not know what happened here, my only explanation is that gluten was an actual ingredient in the dish (which was labeled GF with the rice bowl option). I was incredibly sick for 3 days and am still having mild symptoms now. I will not be eating here again, and probably will not feel comfortable eating at a restaurant that serves gluten again.
