***MUST VISIT for Celiacs!!*** … we have travelled all over, trying the best of GF from California to NY, and can definitively say Yampa River Icehouse was the most incredible food experience for my family. One of the owners is Celiac, so they have gone above and beyond to offer so many GF options.
The food was outstanding, the options were plentiful and the service was superb in every way. We tried a bunch of things off the menu (given we rarely see so many great options) and would say the wings, fries, chips and queso, nachos with pulled pork/bacon and flourless lava cake were the best we have ever had (Gf or non-GF!).
This is a must visit if you are in Steamboat for an amazing GF meal!

Thy have a dedicated gluten free fryer, and the meal was tasty. Not a bad place if you are looking for a bar/grill atmosphere and menu.

A large portion of the menu is gluten free(and marked as such). Dedicated GF fryer for fries. We alerted staff that one of us had celiac, and they knew to tell the kitchen. I ate the fries, pulled pork, corn bread and cole slaw. No reactions, and it was delicious.

There’s a super good variety of GF offerings here (cornbread, cheesy tater casserole, etc.) but the food was just mediocre. Service was good. You should mention celiac specifically, if that’s your issue, rather than just gluten free. This is much more a bar than restaurant, so the atmosphere is very loud and there were a lot of obnoxious people there when my group was there. We probably wouldn’t go back.

Awesome BBQ and safe to eat. Dry rub on the ribs is on point. Brisket was tasty as well. Dedicated fryer for fries. Ate here twice in 2 days and had no issues. Like other reviews, be sure to remind them not to put bread on plate.

Most of the menu is GF, fries are safe and delicious, cornbread is good and the BBQ sauces are all GF. Be sure to say NO BREAD on your plate as they put a slice on every plate. Brisket was a little dry but overall very tasty.

Amazing meat and fries (gf!) BUT they put 2 pieces of Texas toast on top of every plate they bring out, gf or not. So make sure to ask for NO bread!

LOTS of gf options including cornbread and Mac and cheese. No gf cider or beer which was kind of surprising considering everything else they had gf but there were still cocktails. Good experience overall.
