The food was really good, portions on the hibachi side are huge in comparison to the regular restaurant side. They took precautions and the flavor was great. Had the chicken teriyaki once and shrimp and scallops the second time

I got a shrimp roll and also the hibachi shrimp. I was shocked the soup and white sauce was gluten free. I sat in the sushi bar so my food was brought to me prepared. They did bring and cook in gluten free soy sauce.

Went to Yokoso for a birthday party and was initially a little nervous. My body is so sensitive to gluten that even the smallest amount will make me have terrible gastric problems, as well as horribly itchy skin. But I didn’t need to worry at all. Once I told them I was gluten intolerant I was assured over and again I would be well taken care of.
After I was asked basically what I was interested in for my main course, (chicken, shrimp, beef, vegetables, etc) I was walked through the menu with them pointing out exactly which dishes were GF already, or could be made GF. My order was written down, circled, with “GLUTEN FREE” next to it, so there was no chance of missing it. I felt extra safe with the food being prepared directly in front of me, because nothing could accidentally get messed up. The grill was cleaned extremely well, and every bit of my food was cooked before anyone else’s food. Gluten free dressing and sauces were all brought from the kitchen in separate containers. Naturally, there was a mountain of food, which was absolutely delicious!! My husband tasted mine and said he could tell no difference between mine or his. That’s quality. And for the record, I had no adverse reactions whatsoever. Super happy!!

Issue: My chef accidentally cooked my meat with gluten filled soy sauce. He notified me as soon as he realized it. The steak has already touched my rice, he immediately apologized and completely remade my food. Mistakes are going to happen, but I can say without a doubt this is an amazing establishment. It was handled extremely well.
I went on New Years Eve, so I would recommend not going on a EXTREMELY BUSY BUSY night. (My mistake)

They cooked my meal before everyone else, and the gluten free soy sauce is in a separate bottle. It tasted delicious! I felt very safe eating here. They also offer a gluten free menu

They had gluten free soy sauce! They knew about the issue and prepared my food very well. I’m not sensitive to cross contamination so was not concerned about using the same grill as others.
Gf soy sauce and teriyaki sauce, my fav restaurant
Hostess mentioned serving celiac customers all the time. Waitress mentioned that the kitchen staff changed gloves and verbally stated that my meal was gluten free. Separate gluten free menu with many choices was provided upon request. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity. I'm leaving as a happy customer and plan to return again!
Yes
Gluten free teriyaki chicken cooked before my very eyes! Food was good and the GF options abundant. I did notice mixed utensils and the other members of my party's food had soy sauce not tamari. Our food was cooked separately though, and the utensils wiped in between us.
Awesome food. Provide Tamari Sauce and Sake is gluten free also. Gluten free menu
