The staff is very knowledgeable and super accommodating plus the menu is very well marked. I have eaten here many times and never been sick. I HIGHLY recommend the poke bowl and fresh spring rolls!

Multiple GF and vegetarian options on menu. Waitress noticed I ordered GF foods and offered me GF soy sauce before I even asked, which I appreciated! Got three kinds of vegetarian sushi which were all tasty and felt fine after. Service was timely. If I lived in the area I’m sure I’d come back often!

EDITED JUNE 2023: New owners and I don't feel as comfortable given the chaotic nature of the place. Will know in the morning if I was glutened but we waited for our food (take out) for nearly TWO HOURS. Barely an apology.

We have eaten here twice without any issues. The servers and sushi chef were very aware of cc and put us at ease. We ordered Pad Thai, sushi, and miso soup. They also serve gluten free marble soda and a sake that is gf. The servers bring out gluten free soy sauce! Delicious food, attentive staff--we highly recommend Yoshi!

This place is very good. The atmosphere is calming and there are actually tatami mats as an option for seating! The server was very kind and when I asked about something and what ingredients within contained gluten she was happy to tell me! You can ask for a gluten-free soy sauce and it's one I actually already use at home! I would definitely recommend this little restaurant!

Our go to restaurant for safe and delicious food. Staff is very accommodating. Everything is freshly made. Food can take a little longer to make because they are so attentive but easily worth the wait.

Staff was very knowledgeable. The chef made delicious substitutions where needed.

Gluten free soy sauce offered if you ask! Many items on regular menu can be made gf. We got chicken fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. No complaints about sushi either. When bringing out fried rice the chef yelled it was the special gf rice. Then EVERYONE in the kitchen confirmed that, then our waiter went in like, "is this the gf rice" and everyone started yelling "GLUTEN FREE RICE! RIGHT THERE!". Apparently one of the servers is/was gf which encouraged them to change their menu. Highly recommend eating here. Also, for what the food was, it was fair price. About $15 per person.

Yoshi is arguably one of the best places to get sushi in the greater Bangor area. Located in brewer, they have a great variety of sushi as well as bubble teas and japanese dishes. They also have gluten free Tamari soy sauce, which they will provide if you ask!
