Yuyo Japanese Restaurant

Our first time coming here and definitely won’t be our last. From this experience, this may be our new favorite sushi restaurant. There were 4 of us (2 couples). We started out with Edamame (just slightly undercooked) and Miso Soup. For dinner we had a Drunken Monkey Roll, Texas tech Roll, Naruto (not pictured), Snow Crab Heaven Roll, Salmon Lovers Roll, Tuna Tar Tar & Sashimi tuna and salmon. Being that I’m GF, they made my 2 rolls (Naruto & Salmon Lovers) GF and most items can be made GF. The Chilton’s were good and the beers were ice cold. They also offer Tamari as a soy sauce substitute.

UPDATE:

This is our FAVORITE sushi place in Lubbock. The rolls are always amazing. We typically go as a party of 4 (2 couples) and I’m the only gluten-free one in the group. I eat there knowing that Cici will take care of me. She remembers our orders every time. The last time we were there we asked about Mochi Balls (ice cream) and they didn’t carry them. Today we came and at the end of our meal, she surprised us with strawberry & mango Mochi Balls. We love this place.
