I asked for a gluten free menu. 4 staff had no idea what I was talking about. Then someone came from the back and said I could have anything but the empanadas. So I asked if they had gluten free bread for their sandwiches (most of the menu is sandwiches), they told me no. Needless to say I did not eat there.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
— Not Much/None
Staff had some knowledge, but there was a language barrier since I don’t fluently speak Spanish. Not sure about cross contamination sanitation, but food was very good.
Not GF. Yes they have a gf menu but they are Not GF. the grill cooks meat and bread on it. I was told that the heat would take care of any issues. uhm? no. we had a long talk about all of the reasons why this is not gluten free and that there are Cross contamination precautions that need to be taken. unless it is diet choice do not eat here. this is not for anyone with who have immune issues or a serious disease.
No
The staff was wondeful, but there was some confusion between the cook and owner as to what all was gf. I believe the cook was more aware as the owner told me I couldn't eat the rice or potatoes. Next time, I will take my Spanish Triumph Dining card with me.
We go here for breakfast on Saturdays. They have been helpful telling me what not to eat. About half of their usual menu is gf. Good food and great coffee.
