Zero Sum Door County

Zero Sum is awesome. My wife and I come here every time we are in Door County. My wife has Celiac so it’s nice to have a dedicated gluten free eatery she can feel 100% safe and comfortable at. The food and service is excellent.

Dedicated GF restaurant!! So nice being able to make choices without having to worry. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is it’s a small menu and my kids didn’t like the different flavors. Not always about kids, but when they both have celiac it’s hard to find options for little kids. My husband (celiac) and I (not celiac) thought food was delicious. A little tricky to find but a cute place with mostly outdoor seating.

What a welcoming cafe! We enjoyed the gf smoothie bowl, the chia pudding, the coffee and more. This establishment is 100% gf with so many Df options as well. The employees are kind and happy and so proud of their cafe!

Best GF (and DF) place I’ve found in Door County so far! Also, BEST COFFEE! I had the waffles with fruit (get 2 if you’re hungry, they’re pretty thin). I also had a GF / DF lemon crinkle cookie that was delicious. They have an assortment of chocolates/bars for sale, some of them are GF (and/or DF). They also sell their baking mix (what they use for the waffles) and bake their own GF / DF bread. The staff is so friendly and accommodating—we were just sad that they were closed two days a week because we wanted to go back!

Fully GF, with dairy free options and vegan options. They also sell their muffin/waffle mix, which is not only GF but high protein, low glycemic, paleo, and has a vegan option.

Not a lot of food choices currently, basically breakfast/brunch fare. The waffles, smoothie bowls, frittatas, quiches, and coffee and tea drinks. And healthy juices. All very tasty, for me and my non-GF spouse!

This place is a hidden gem in Sister Bay. I have been several times while on vacation and Zero Sum never disappointed me. Their gluten free mix is great and they make delicious waffles from it. Highly recommended place.

Zero Sum is an absolute hidden gem! Everything is gluten-free, but they also have a lot of dairy-free and vegan options. Apparently, they have their own muffin and waffle mix. We tried the fruit waffles with fresh berries on top and local maple syrup, and they were delicious. I also had their fresh juice, which was great, and the avocado toast was really good too. They bake their own gluten and dairy-free bread. The service was excellent.

Fabulous fully dedicated GF restaurant with amazing food and drinks. It feels so nice to be able to order anything from the menu. The waffles are soooo delicious and you can buy the mix online or from the store.

Highly recommend!

This place is fabulous but not visible from the parking lot as it is on the lower level of the Country Walk Shops. Small, quaint shop with friendly staff that are knowledgeable in their products. Everything is GF and vegan. We had the waffles with Door Co maple syrup- makes my mouth water thinking about them again! It is definitely on my return list of favorite restaurants in Door County.

food was amazing! Dedicated gf restaurant. try their ginger cookies! i had the smoked salmon toast, which was great! comes with a delicious side salad. would have eaten there every morning, but found out about it too late.

Had the avocado toast, has an egg on it and comes with parsley cherry tomatoes and yogurt with tasty mix-ins. Fantastic! My friends also enjoyed their GF waffles and quiche and they don't need to be GF.
