Had heard that Zips had a gluten free bun but the employees had no idea what I was talking about. Zips was my favorite before needing to be gluten free so I was disappointed.

Best gluten free buns around! Taste delicious on their burgers or sandwiches.

Growing up I always loved zips. I am now celiac so I decided to risk it. I had a bun-less burger and french fries. I told them I’m allergic to the bun. I’m only minorly sick compared to how I normally feel if I accidentally eat gluten. Definitely not the best place for celiac disease. And I’m pretty sure the fryers for the french fries are shared with onion rings but delicious food.

They didn’t even know what gluten was. I’m guessing there is no allergy training here.

gluten free buns offered at an upcharge now.

gf hamburgers are good. but..the fries are not gf.

This Zips Drive In offers gluten free buns free of charge, and they're soft and delicious. I'd been really craving a fast food hamburger for awhile and this was a perfect fix. I can't say it's celiac friendly because I don't know what their kitchen processes are.
