I’m gluten intolerant but not celiac (yet. Haven’t been tested for that yet) and this facility was safe for me. I had no reaction and the gf bread was Udis. Very yummy sandwich spot!

Amazing sandwiches using Melindas (local GF bakery) Gluten Free bread. Very knowledgeable and will sanitize equipment.

Although they changed their protocols, they will still go above and beyond if you ask. Have a separate toaster and will open new condiments.

They used to have a great cross contamination celiac protocol but they got rid of it :( very disappointing, they make tasty sandwiches but cannot recommend to anyone with celiac or a wheat allergy.

They do have gluten free bread, but when I ordered a sandwich and explicitly told them that I needed it to be prepared on a separate surface they waited until after we had paid to say that they changed their policy and don’t sanitize anymore and can’t say that it’s safe. I ended up not eating the sandwich I had ordered. Looked like it was going to be great, but I was too uncomfortable with the risk and disappointed after the other reviews here made me hopeful.

Very friendly workers!! Dedicated toaster for sandwich. I’m also very sensitive to gluten and had no reaction!!

They have allergy protocols for celiac. Gluten free bread was fresh and soft. A great place for sandwiches.

Celiac friendly?

I Have Celiac and have eaten here probably 7 times and I have been in SC a month. They are now using Melinda's Gluten free bread which makes it all so much better. They sanitize before making your sandwich so make sure to ask for that. I am very sensitive to cross contamination but they do it right here. The wait can be long so if you are in a rush place a call ahead order. My favorite is the Italian club sandwich, pesto mayo so good. They have chips, wine, sides, chocolate, cheeses, etc. I usually steer clear of delis/sandwich places but so far so good!
