Gluten-Free at Boston Market

It took about 10 minutes to figure out if the rotisserie nuggets were gluten free or not. They never told us, so we ended up giving up. We ordered the dark chicken. It was very fatty and dry, so I give it a 3/10. The mashed potatoes were pretty good so I give them 7.5/10. Overall, would not return.

Sometimes you need to pick up quick prepared food and this fits the bill.

I frequently go to this location for mashed potatoes (2 scoops, no gravy) and rotisserie chicken. I always ask for no gravy, no cornbread and I do not get sick. I know they have a vegetable that is GF too but I usually go home and make a fresh veg there.

I do not know what the cross contamination risk is like but I have eaten here at several times a month for years without issue.

They were great! I got a 1/4 Rotissere Chicken with mixed veggies and garlic red skin potatoes. The women who served us was very knowledgable on what was gluten free and she took my gluten allergy seriously.

Been eating at Boston Market for years, you can get rotisserie chicken, or Turkey - AND their poultry gravy is gluten free! (It is a golden light brown color, their beef gravy is not gluten free, it's a dark brown color). Several sides are GF, and obvious which ones are not (eg stuffing and Mac & cheese are not). IMPORTANT: if ordering an individual meal, ask the server: "oh and please no corn bread, I'm allergic" or else they will put it on the plate automatically. There is always the possibility for cross contamination, but I've never gotten sick here ever, and their GF containing sides and bread aren't very near to the GF ones.

I eat there regularly and they are very conscious of gluten free needs lots of gluten free choices. I have never gotten sick from eating there.

Staff not knowledgeable, had non gluten free cornbread on too of meal, they did replace. However not worth the cross contamination risk

The staff was knowledgeable! They have a manager with a gluten allergy so she was super helpful! Their gravy for the mashed is GF and their chicken is guaranteed GF! I got chicken and green beans with mashed WITH GRAVY! So happy. No symptoms following my meal either☺

The chicken is gluten free as well as the mashed potatoes, garlic dill potatoes, green beans, and corn. Please note you get a free corn bread with the meal. The corn bread is not gluten free. If you eat in (meaning they are giving you a plate) you must tell them before you order that you do not want the corn bread or to put it in the bag for someone who isn't gluten free, otherwise, they will lay your cornbread on top of your food on your plate. To avoid this hassle, I always order out.

The staff is unfriendly. Previously they’ve had a list behind the counter of items that contained gluten but when I asked the woman helping me she said she doesn’t know what gluten is or if it’s in their food

Very limited gluten free selection. I got sick on chicken, corn and green beans. Won’t be going back. Food is easily cross contaminated

Be careful of the cornbread. They threw it on there when I wasn’t looking even though I kept asking if things were gluten free. It got on my chicken and made me very sick. Usually ok though.

The manager was extremely friendly and aware of all the gf options. He even went to print off a list of gf items. We got a delicious meal for a good price and did not have any ill effects after.

Came here a couple times and it was safe. Past two times were miserable and I will never return. First time was cross contamination, 2nd time the “manager” made the meal and put crumb topic on top of the garlic and herb chicken they assured was gluten free. Incompetent imbeciles.

Great place. Go there frequently and get great service and great food. Inexpensive, For us Celiacs, you can have chicken, Veges, and potatoes safely as they are all GF. They will change gloves and handle acoordingly as long as you let them know. The staff is Awsome and courteous.

They have a nice allergen menu online. Have been pretty good about cross contamination from my experiences.

I wanted to love this place, but that changed when I got home and realized there was a cornbread muffin right on top of my 'gluten free' food. (I should've checked my bag before I left, but I did specifically ask for no cornbread because I have to avoid gluten) The foods are all also in a buffet heater, nearly touching, which would make it extremely difficult to avoid cross contamination.

Every time I try the poultry gravy here, I feel sick afterward. The website says that all locations carry a gluten free poultry gravy, but it seems as though maybe there is some gluten in it after all. I hope some other people will provide feedback.

This Boston Market will work with you to serve a safe, good meal. Lists of gluten free items can be obtained both on-line and at the restaurant. However, because the display case presents an opportunity for cross contamination and cross contact, we typically ask for new sides to be prepared for us. This Boston Market is pleased to do that. With freshly prepared sides, and the meats prepared per usual, we've always had safe and tasty meals here. Additionally, we always return.

They have a wide variety of GF food, however I told them I have a wheat allergy and to please leave the cornbread off of my plate which they ignored. There was no one inside besides my family so there was no reason for them to not get that right. They did offer to remake it after they brought it out.

Can someone tell me if the sweet potato casserole is gluten free?

My boyfriend has celiac disease and is highly sensitive to gluten. My boyfriend had heard they had some gluten free options and we decided to check it out. we got there and asked the manager if she knew what the options were and she immediately knew what we were talking about and pulled out an allergy list that was very helpful. she also knew a lot about cross contamination. The food was delicious! we are definitely going back.

Their corporate website has good info. The serving/dishing area is clean. I've always been able to place an order with the specified "minus this" or "minus that" and haven't been glutened.

Rotisserie chicken is gf and delicious! Lots of sides to choose from as well. The food is great here and has a more home cooked feel rather than a traditional fast food restaurant.
