I have struggled since diagnosis to find a good gluten free tortilla. Been using corn so far but they always lack taste and are pretty dry. Anyone got good store bought recommendations for a tasty gf flour tortilla?

sam8466 Mission is good for cooked but crack when using for a wrap. I use Toufayan for wraps. 1 reply
reubentheceliac Trader Joe’s has gf tortillas that I like. They are best well heated before adding burrito or quesadilla ingredients 3 replies
Ellyse Siete almond ones are Soo good! I’ve found all gluten free tortillas are best when they’re warmed up!
ruthimon Hot tip: I learned you’re supposed to warm it up in a pan first. If you put all your ingredients in the tortilla while it warms up on low heat in a frying pan, it makes the tortilla much more flexible. After I learned people do this with gluten tortillas I tried it on my gf ones and it worked great in making them pliable and pleasant. 1 reply
ruthimon And to that end, I recommend the new Trader Joe’s ones. They aren’t amazing but they’re pretty good. And they kept until like three weeks after the due date (I stored in fridge)
lorna26443 Very easy to make out of cassava flour & oil. You will never buy again! Don’t fall apart like most 1 reply
lisa79687 Coyotas, sold out of Whole Foods, but also shipped from San Diego. Made from cassava and phenomenal.
Greg1125 I highly suggest taking Egglife egg white wraps and using them as a replacement (I found them at Whole Foods, but I’m sure they are in other places). Trust me when I say, it’s worth the try. They have no real taste, so you get to enjoy what’s being wrapped within them.
ashley48498 I like the mission almond tortillas.
mirandaV Toufayan are my go to! They’re nice for wraps and quesadillas as they’re pretty good at not cracking.
dimitra Schär has some really nice tortillas
armen58637 I enjoy a product made by “Food for life” called “sprouted corn tortillas”. I think they have a little better taste than plain tortillas.
simone22284 Siete brand!!!!
alisandra2588 Be Free brand has amazing large wraps that don’t crumble or crack, even when not heated, and are also high in protein. They’re my go-to for pocket lunch wraps when skiing and they stay together even in my pocket! Siete brand is good for breakfast burritos as long as you heat it in a pan longer than it suggests on the package, but not too long otherwise it gets crispy/flakey. Mission almond or cauliflower tortillas taste similar to a regular tortilla but I find that it’s very gooey/gummy and kinda gross texture if not eaten right after preparing. 2 replies
Cortneyinthecity Siete has cassava flour tortillas that are 🔥
sometimefoods We use Siete almond flour tortillas. Make sure to warm it up in a pan 10-15secs per side. We love it!
crystel148490 my favorite store bought "flour" tortilla is La Tortilla Factory's gluten free tortillas made with cassava. I like TJ's quinoa ones as well. Both hold up pretty well. As many mentioned, best heated up briefly, about 10-15 seconds per side in very hot pan. https://www.latortillafactory.com/view/products/gluten-free-wheat-free-wraps/
