Removed last review because we went back and we all got sick, despite ordering and specifically pointing out gf needs. Too bad this place had potential
Best gluten free pizza I have had. I have refractory celiac and have eaten here three times. Never have i been cross contaminated. The owner is who helped me and understood my needs and worries.
Pizza and curry?? I feared this place would be awful. How very mistaken I was! For a start, the man serving has celiac disease and was totally familiar with the whole gluten-free thing. To my amazement the menu clearly labels all gluten-free options. And the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS -- real food, and real Indian food at that. Overjoyed to find this place. Don't let the strange combination of pizza and curry put you off: the food is really excellent. Next time I will try their gluten-free pizza.
UPDATE: I have now eaten here several more times, and was very surprised to see a bad review here, so I asked the owner about it. He was surprised too, and said: "I have celiac disease. I KNOW about gluten!" Might it have been someone else (an employee?) who advised against eating there if you have celiac disease? It is so very different from my experience of this place. The first time we dined there we really quizzed the owner to check that he does in fact understand, and he really did seem to get it.
Yes
I called to ask about cross contamination and the man informed me that if you have celiac and are very sensitive to gluten that you should not dine here. Such a disappointment!
