Excellent food. Not a huge GF menu but the food I ate was incredibly good. Restaurant is a bit outdated and there wasn't a big crowd on a Thursday night but the food was fantastic and reasonably priced.

Upscale restaurant in downtown Chattanooga offering gluten-free entree and dessert options.

Joe was our waiter and he was extremely knowledgeable about 212 Market gluten-free options. I had the shrimp & grits which the chef modified to make gluten-free. Their signature chocolate dessert with raspberry sauce was delicious and the highlight of my meal. I will definitely return & can recommend to others.

Had the Butternut Squash Soup & the Bacon & Brussel Sprout Salad... Both were absolutely delicious!! The soup was amazingly savory & the salad was crisp & refreshing. Service was great, atmosphere was incredibly welcoming & the price was very reasonable. Nice to have the Gluten Free options noted on the main menu as well!

Ok...so we had a safe GF experience here. That said, the quality of the food didn't match the price. I paid $70 for two people to eat. The waitress was not reassuring about the fried polenta being fried away from breaded products. While she left the polenta fries off, she made know effort to provide a substitute or adjust the bill. Though the steak was adequate, the sauce that accompanied my steak tasted like it was out of a can. It was definitely not worth $30. The custard in the creme brulee was over-cooked. It could be that I went on a Tuesday and had a less experienced chef. If you go, opt for the GF chocolate truffle dessert. It looked better. It also might help to call ahead and request a more GF knowledgeable waiter/waitress. Mine brought BREAD to the table after clearly stating we were dining gluten free! So would I go back...perhaps on the weekend to give it a second chance. The mashed potatos were good, as was the regular polenta
