My daughter is afraid to eat out after accidentally getting glutened with “GF” food selections at more than one restaurant. But, we wanted to do dinner before the John Mulaney show back in Dec & saw all these great reviews. She felt 100% comfortable & all 4 of us thought everything was delicious. She literally teared up being able to each such good food in a fancy place & not feel anxious about it. Pricey but totally worth it!!!

After hearing such good things about 350 Grace and knowing it is GF restaurant, my husband took me there for my birthday. Prior to going, we looked at the menu online, chose a first and second choice entree, dessert, etc. I was really looking forward to going. The folks were welcoming and told us who was assisting Chef Moats in the kitchen. Upon presentation of the menu, neither of our choices were on it. We selected another option, salmon it was ok. Then when I inquired about dessert, we were told it was included with our meal. Boy was that a surprise. My husband got avocado chocolate mousse and I got bread pudding (no choice given as to what we wanted). My husband’s had about 1/2 teaspoon of mousse in a tiny dish; I had about a tablespoon of bread pudding with a smidge of ice cream on it, served in a metal “glass” about the size of a shot glass. Mine could be considered a sample but his wasn’t small for that. I’m REALLY glad there is a dedicated GF restaurant, but both of us were disappointed.

This is a dedicated GF restaurant. All of the employees in front of the house are absolutely joyful when they greet everyone and answer menu questions. The food alone is worth 10 stars on a 1-5 scale. Portions are generous, drinks are lovely and I will go every time I am in Norfolk! Chef Willie is a gem.

350 Grace is a gem. I have celiac. When we found out there was a gluten-free kitchen in my old hometown – started by one of the city’s premier chefs, no less – I was all about it. Menu and kitchen are entirely GF. Menus is on the more expensive end, but well worth it for the safety and the experience. So rare that anyone does GF southern soul food cuisine! Absolute highest marks.

We can't say enough positive things about this restaurant. The food was amazing! Having celiac, it is so difficult to find a place that I can completely trust. Everything from appetizer to entree to dessert was fantastic. Certainly recommend the salmon fritters, ribs, and turnip fries for appetizers. Our group's entrees included chicken, pork loin, lamb chops, and shrimp and grits (best grits anywhere!). Each meal was unique and the flavors were absolutely delicious. Michelle and Chef Willie Mohts and the entire staff were so very welcoming, courteous, and made sure everything was just perfect! Truly an enjoyable experience!

I never leave negative reviews, but we tried to make a reservation for our family of 5, but nope, they only take parties of 4 or smaller. Staffing issues/trying to keep quality up, blah, blah, blah. Amazing food!!! Wish we lived close. We were visiting from MD. The food is just spectacular. If you did not know the place was 100% GF food you would not know. My daughter and I would always share 2 meals when we went out. Can’t share since she has been diagnosed celiac. But tonight the whole family shared everything from apps to desserts! My daughter hasn’t had bread pudding since diagnosed. She was almost in tears it was so good. And the salmon was the best I’ve ever had. Came here for New Year’s Eve and was not disappointed. Had the salmon fritters and short ribs for appetizers. My husband (not gluten free) got the crawfish Mac n cheese and thought it was very good. I had the fire roasted chicken and it was delicious. The bread pudding dessert was also incredible. Please go eat here and keep this place in business!!

Absolutely fabulous! Every bite is heaven. For bday celebrations this week, I dined here with my guy. First, the salmon fritters were decadent. Portobello Mushroom Steak was hot, grilled perfection and yet the side of veggies almost stole the show with their warm apple glaze that reminded me of apple butter. I tasted his NY strip steak and it was so flavorful throughout, it almost tasted like sausage. Best bite of steak in my life! * drool * As if that’s not enough, Grace’s bread pudding with cinnamon & bourbon glaze leaves you with that sweet satisfying finale. Love love!

Wonderful! They told us the recently lost a staff member and everything was still absolutely phenomenal!! We had the Mac and cheese as an appetizer with the pork and hen for entrees. They also gave us complimentary desert and everything was DELICIOUS. Everyone was so kind and the portions are incredibly generous. 10/10 will go again. The favor profiles are wonderful and I would recommend avoiding making ingredient changes when possible. I’d also recommend having some extra time so you can enjoy yourself.

Very good food! The crayfish mac and cheese was amazing and the bread pudding at the end was absolutely to die for, especially given that it’s hard to find remotely good gluten-free bread pudding but this was better than most gluten bread puddings. Not fine dining Very casual loud and bright diner-like atmosphere with open concept kitchen where you can see and hear everyone cooking and cleaning Food was good but immensely overpriced for what you are getting, especially in such a loud and casual atmosphere They require upscale attire of their patrons but allow friends and staff to wear ripped jeans and t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. Owner was shockingly unprofessional, becoming aggressive when we explained we had thought this was a fine dining restaurant and wanted to leave because the dish washers were throwing down dishes and owner refused to ask them to stop or to move us into the other room even though this reservation was for my birthday. Staff unprofessional. For example, she had a hard time accepting the fact we weren’t drinking alcohol, didn’t have much else to offer, and asked me if I was pregnant. I’ve known you for all of one minute and you’re asking me if I’m pregnant?

Wonderful experience! We were in town on my birthday week and finally I could have a fabulous meal and just relax.

I treated myself to the crawfish Mac and cheese appetizer (which was divine) and the snapper for dinner. My husband had the salmon. Everything was out of sight and it was so freeing not to have to worry about cross contamination. Can’t wait to come back to Virginia to eat here again!

NOT recommended for people with celiac. If you’re just gluten-sensitive, it is okay, but almost everything is cooked with whiskey or bourbon (which is derived from barley/rye) and I have gotten sick multiple times eating here🤮. I wanted to give them a third chance, since they claim to be excellent for gluten free diets, but I was gaslighted by the owner who tried to tell me it wasn’t their food that got me sick. I cook 99% of my food at home, and only tried this place because of their gluten free claims, but when I had the same illnessh twice within hours of eating here, I knew it was to blame. I asked if I could have my meal without their whiskey-derived sauce, and was given a rude reaction. Do NOT risk it! Owner will not work with you if you have celiac disease.

This makes an overly priced dinner both stressful and a near guarantee of illness🥴🤢

What an amazing experience! The entire menu is gluten free and the food was amazing. I had potato chip crusted crab cakes, lobster mashed potatoes, and asparagus. My husband had the glazed Cornish hen (and we got to share food for the first time in a very long time at a restaurant). For dessert we shared the pineapple upside down cake. The staff was friendly and the service was phenomenal. Unless you come early (we got there around 5:30), you need a reservation. We will be back!
