Celiac diner, very sensitive to cross contamination and we had a great meal here! The bbq beans and coleslaw sides were delicious, we enjoyed the brisket, pulled pork and then loaded baked potato!

Meats and sauces GF. Clear explanations on website. Solid BBQ at a decent price and even has vegan options. Possible contamination risk when serving rolls etc if not advised prior, but overall feels pretty safe with the meats served by ladles.

Absolutely perfect for celiac. They changed gloves several times and made sure everything was safe for me. They have a list of everything for you also.

I usually just get the pulled pork, and every time I go they are really good and put on separate gloves and do their best to avoid cross contamination. Plus it’s nice as you can watch them prepare your food. I’m not 100% sure but I think all their sauce are gf

They have an allergen menu. Several tasty meats without gluten. Got all into the brisket, pulled chicken, slaw, sweet potatoes. https://www.4rsmokehouse.com/wp-content/uploads/ADA-Allergen-Menu_2022_082222.pdf

Really good food. Asked if the sauces were GF and she didn’t know, but referred me to the allergen section of their website.

This was my first experience at 4 Rivers, and I must say I was pretty impressed! I notified the staff that I had a gluten allergy and although it was not marked on the menu, they pulled out the nutrition facts list which indicated the items that were gluten free. Surprisingly, almost everything was gluten free! I ordered the pulled pork platter, which comes with 3 sides. They allowed me to select an additional side in place of a dinner roll / cornbread since I could not eat it. The food was delicious and the environment was pretty cool. Definitely recommend for gluten free BBQ! I’ll be back for sure!

Great food, great staff. Told them I needed gluten free because of celiac. They changed gloves and pulled the food from the back. I had the brisket, fried cheese grits and green beans. Would go again.

Absolutely amazing! Staff is well-trained and extremely accommodating of cross contamination issues for celiacs. Food is amazing!! This is a can’t-miss for celiacs in Jacksonville! Never had any bad reactions.

I'm sorry to say that I had a different experience than others did here. The server changed her gloves and I ordered salad with pulled chicken. I had a reaction to the chicken and suspect the spices are not safe.

I was afraid to eat here but I was wrong. The server changed her gloves and advised me of their gf options. Had the pulled chicken with corn and slaw and was safe and no pain. Definitely I will be back.
