We had the best experience at lunch yesterday! My daughter has Celiac plus severe egg and nut allergies. It's very difficult to find (and trust) any restaurants where she can eat. I saw they had a Gluten Free menu and opted to speak to a manager to ensure I felt confident her food would be handled carefully to avoid cross-contamination. The manager told me they take allergies very seriously at their restaurant and that they will take care of us. He said, on a personal note, that his girlfriend has Celiac Disease, so he is well aware and informed on steps that are needed to avoid cross-contamination. My daughter ordered the Cheeseburger with no bun since it contained eggs (but they do offer a gluten free bun) with french fries since they use a dedicated fryer. She was in heaven! We are so thankful to have found this gluten/allergy conscious gem in Edwardsville and will be back!

Have to be diligent here. Told the waitress I was GF, ordered off the GF menu (mashed potatoes no gravy was a listed side option), got a plate with gravy on the potatoes and rice that was not on the GF menu. Sent it back and rice was left on so I assumed it was safe. Nope
They have a gluten-free menu and the waitress said they were very careful to not cross contaminate but I had issues.
Great place to eat, excellent service there is a gluten free menu you just have to ask!
Yes
I had a good experience the first time I ate here, but then the second time I ate at 54th Grill, I definitely experienced issues. I didn't feel like the waitress took my allergy seriously. Maybe this place is fine for people just avoiding gluten, but I would not recommend for celiac, chrones, or other autoimmune/ highly gluten sensitivities.
Ordered off allergy menu & told waitress my daughter cannot eat gluten....no bread. Ordered ribs, baked potato & steamed vegs. Out came the order and on top of ribs were 3 breaded chicken strips.
good place to eat

We’ve been twice and their food is very good!
It’s a fun place, lots of crazy decor, good energy.
The waitstaff has been great, both times. Fun, personable and has checked on anything they were uncertain about.
There is a QR code on the menu that’ll take you to their gluten free menu.
So far, I’ve tried the chicken wings (very good), tater kegs (different, probably won’t order again, but “ok”, nachos (very good, but you have to substitute to make gf), and I’ve had a burger and fries before. Those were both very food too.
We’ll be returning, for sure.

Excellent food with a ton of choices! Don’t trust the fried food, but gluten free buns are delicious too. We will be back!!

Tasty food. Many options for gluten and dairy free meals. Willing to work with us. Fast service. Our only complaint is that their allergy information is only online.

I eat here a lot. There is a ton to choose from-Nachos, California bleu salad, sandwiches, tater kegs are some of my favorites (some with modifications). They have a GF menu online. I have never had a reaction after eating here. It’s one of my favorites.
