The food was delicious and everything was clearly marked! They were knowledgeable about celiac. Got the mussels to start and the curried shrimp.

Really good seafood, and they have good protocols to prevent cross contact. I did not sick.

Menu was clearly marked and the staff was knowledgeable. Food was wonderful and you can’t beat the views. I felt great after my meal . (NOTE: I am not diagnosed celiac but will often feel terrible in places that are seemingly less careful and I feel like this restaurant did a great job making sure my meal was safe but I would double check with them if you have celiac).

We called ahead and the waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac. She told us that the cooks were extensively trained in handling food “allergies” and have even had people allergic to fish safely eat there. I ordered the surf & turf and salmon dish as well as a cocktail and it was all delicious. I’m very sensitive to cross contamination so I was so grateful I didn’t get sick!

The waitress told us they can prepare any dish gluten free except those that include bread. I asked about French fries and she said those are gluten free because they are not fried in the same fryer with any breaded foods. I had steamed clams and my husband had octopus and we shared a nice big bowl of French fries. Delicious food, no after effects, and the "top deck" where we sat was shaded, breezy, and had a fabulous view of the harbor and beyond. NEW REVIEW-- We returned 8/9/2017 and the dedicated fryer is gone, so no French fries. However, the clam chowder is still gluten free, the view is still fabulous, the waitress was knowledgeable and careful. We had a delicious and healthy lunch.
