Same as the previous commenter. The first time I went to single pebble they offered several dishes that were gf but the latest time I went that list was reduced to just a few options because things are flash fried so are contaminated (broccoli dish). The Thai curry without the fried noodles was fine and the Chinese vegetables. I think the cold cabbage was also noted as being okay. They were out of the silken tofu dish but that would have been safe too. Might not go back given the limited option.

We’ve been here before but tonight had an experience that made us wonder. Like others, we’ve had the tangerine chicken and gf dry fried green beans. Tonight, the waitress told us those aren’t actually gf (though they are marked gf) because they go into a shared frier before the wok. I was surprised because we had previously been assured that those were safe but she said half the gf menus goes into the fryer, even items that don’t seek fried. They made adapted versions and ir was fine, but now I don’t know who to believe. She also tried to explain that whether the food is gf “depends on how sensitive” our celiac person is. So a waitress who thinks she gets it but doesn’t actually which is not great to deal with.
Update: celiac person was up with a stomach ache after eating here despite being directed to the items marked gf that were supposed to be safe.

Totally agree with previous poster. Amazing GF Chinese food but not too many options. We had the mock eel, lemon shrimp and tangerine chicken. The eel is cool but not sure we would get again. Lemon shrimp was out of this world good and tangerine chicken was from thighs so it was super juicy. Drink was great too! Highly recommend trying out.

Go to order for gf if dry fried green beans, tangerine peel chicken, and rice noodle curry soup. Really hope they expand their gf options, as they are currently very limited. What you do get is delicious and arguably the best classic Chinese food I ever have eaten.

Dude this is the best Chinese food I’ve had since being gluten free. Options are limited unfortunately and it’s expensive but the food was SO good. Worth every penny. Got the dry fried green beans and she tangerine peel chicken. No reaction and tasted amazing!

We were a party for 4 with one person who has celiac. Our server was wonderful in ensuring that what I ordered was indeed gluten free, however that gave me exact;lly 2 items on the menu! They were delicious as were the other items served to my companions, and I really appreciated how seriously our server treated my needs, but I expected more options that 2. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone on a serious gluten free diet. I wish they would expand the gf offerings, but for now, we won't be back.

Was brought out the wrong meal that contained gluten. Ended up getting very sick.
Awesome food! Things are marked on the menu and the servers knew what else could be made with a gluten free special prep.
Yes
Went 3 times 2/3 great 3rd time we but went they were very busy and got very sick they accidentally gave me gluten dish. They were apologetic and gave a gift certificate but never went back. Feel like it's fine for non allergy
The staff was good and accommodating, but be careful! They had items listed as gluten free, but shared same fry oil as gluten item (not celiac safe). I only discovered that by asking. Very slow on that Tuesday night, so the chef was able to heat up new separate oil in a clean pan for us. We had a great meal, but they warned not to expect that if they were busy. If they hadn't been able to do that, options would have been extremely limited.
only thing to eat here is steamed rice and veggies
I love their coconut shrimp. Just about everything can be made gluten free.

My wife has Celiacs and I noted this when I made the reservation on Open Table. The menu indicated which dishes could be made gluten free, and the waiter was reassuring that those dishes were prepared with low risk of cross-contamination. He was also very clear about the specials that could be made gluten free. As dishes arrived, the runner cited the name of the dish and whether it was gluten free. Just as important, the food was delicious. If you are in the Burlington area and are craving Asian food, A Single Pebble should be your destination!

More of a 3.5 star... The food is high quality, but the only gluten free meat entrees are tangerine chicken and lemon shrimp. Everything else gets marinated in soy sauce. Would be 5 stars with a bigger selection.

One of my favorite spots in Burlington. A great place to take groups of friends and easily order gf dishes to share (that we all enjoy!)
Excellent GF Asian food.
Many GF options! Excellent food! Probably the best fried rice I've ever eaten! Loved the tangerine chicken and wok stir fried mixed Chinese vegetables! They also had a GF chocolate cake for dessert! My young children loved it too!
Many GF options and the food was delicious!

Food absolutely amazing. Many dishes can be made w/ wheat free tamari. However some recipes are made with the NON wheat free tamari so that they are unavailable. Even though they have it?? I find this odd. Why not convert all recipes to wheat free tamari thus expanding the options.
Many gluten free options at Vermont's #1 Chinese restaurant.
