I was left speechless by the amount of menu options and cross contamination procedures that Alcona Brew Haus offered me. The owner, Sandy, is the kindest lady you’ll ever meet and is so knowledgeable about all types of different allergies. She took the time to go through the menu with us personally and showed us pictures of the kitchen and the cross contamination procedures she had in place. She shared her own personal story about dealing with allergies, and shared that her kids all struggle with severe allergies. It felt like a home away from home, and as a celiac, that’s not something I find very often. Oh, did I mention she also has all staff members go through a allergy training course before starting work? So if you don’t get the chance to meet Mrs. Sandy, her team of trained staff will have your back. This place is a treasure!!!
