I have eaten here several times. Tino the owner is kind and willing to accommodate. Unfortunately the rest of his staff isn't on board or knowledgeable on gf. So it's a bit of a struggle when ordering. But for me it's worth it. There enchiladas are to die for! They have white onions in them Topped with a yummiest of gravy and cheese. There queso is my favorite or all time. I usually bring in my own chips because they don't like to fire up the separate fryer unless they aren't busy and have a heads up.

Successfully eaten here numerous times and never gotten sick. Always get the enchiladas and notify the server of my allergy.

Amaya’s was just OK, as far as taste goes, but I did eat a beef enchilada and Mexican rice with no reaction. We also ordered beef nachos. Our server was very willing to take my questions to the kitchen; for example, was the “gravy” that comes on the enchilada free of flour, which it was, and were the chips (with the salsa and nachos) corn chips, which they were.

I have celiac disease and have safely ordered the enchiladas and Mexican rice here multiple times, no reaction. Love their food!

They no longer have a dedicated fryer it is a shared fryer. So if you are celiac do not eat the chips! Ordered the traditional quesadilla and requested gluten allergy sub corn tortillas.
They do have a dedicated fryer, but they ask that you call 30 mins prior to your arrival so they can have it turned on and warm. I recently had dinner there for the first time this week and it was so yummy! I had steak and chicken fajitas and they were by far the best I’ve ever had. The spicy pear margarita is also amazing! Before dining there I emailed and asked about gf. They owner responded with a great email telling me about the precautions they would take. When I arrived I asked for a gf menu and the bartender smiled and said everything is gf, we’ll just sub out the flour tortilla and anything fried will go in dedicated fryer. We ate and drank and I had zero reactions. Can’t wait to go back! Also I was pleased to see when my check came that my order had been flagged for *no gluten*

Wonderful food! Staff was courteous and knew what they were doing. Call ahead to get the dedicated dryer going so when you walk in 30 mins later, you can have some gf chips and salsa. Highly recommend!!
Great Mexican restaurant can get anything on the menu except the burrito had the quesadilla on a corn tortillas but you do have to call a half hour before if you want gluten free chips to make sure the dedicated fryer is warm up
