My meal was good..No reaction. I had the salmon, not a ton of choices. With so many restaurants in Charleston not sure I would visit again but a solid choice.

Ordered one of the few items on the menu marked GF. Asked the waitress just to confirm it was GF, she did … steak came out with gluten on it. Response was “oh sorry, do you want me to get them to scrape it off?” 🤦🏻♀

Stopped here for the raw bar and found the menu to be marked with GF. We had two orders of the seafood sampler, baked oysters, and the blackened Mahi Mahi. Absolutely delicious. The place has a pub feel with upscale food and presentation. Great find!

I had the tuna tacos. the waitress was knowledgeable but they have a new menu and they no longer have a GF menu. The tacos were seared tuna with all the trimmings on corn tortillas. I thought they were excellent. THe waitress also said the shrimp and grits was GF. I had no issues the next day.

New menu and our server knew nothing about GF. Asked for the manager and he told me the menu was new so wasn’t really sure what was GF. The oysters were good (GF of course), the rest of the food was average at best for the price. Would not recommend for celiac.

Waitress was fairly knowledgeable. Selection of gf food was okay. Had the seasonal salad which was gf without modification and it was amazing. The shrimp and grits had great flavor without being too spicy. Would return to this restaurant. My non celiac family loved everything, especially the she crab soup.

Waiter was not knowledgeable but their menu is marked and online too. My celiac son had the tuna tacos. I (celiac) had grouper prepared blackened, which came with rice and asparagus. My gf but non celiac daughters had a salad with grilled grouper. Only reason for 4 stars was no gf bread or other options for kids meals so my kids are off the adult menu, which was great but pricey. Kitchen seemed to have it down and no issues for us after we told the waiter. Oh! And my husband and I also had an oyster shooter that they made with Tito’s to make gf which was great. If you’re looking for raw bar and grilled seafood, this is a great place, and lovely atmosphere too!

Took great care of me and answered all my questions. Prepared a meal that was "off menu" and delicious.

Got the tuna tacos and they were amazing. No reaction. They weren’t actually marked GF on the physical menu, but they are online and I had specifically been recommended them so we asked. They’re GF! I think it’s a typo on their menu since there’s a star next to it too

Nice restaurant. We went for dinner. I had the seared scallops. It was good, but pricey for the serving size. My husband had the GF shrimp and grits, again the serving size could be been bigger for the dinner portion. He liked the shrimp and grits, but would probably go with a different meal if we were to return.

Excellent food. Able to accommodate both celiac and my daughters soybean allergy (which is in everything!).
chose not to eat here when I asked the waiter if the fish tacos were gluten free, he told me about how fresh the tuna was that had nothing to do with my question. In addition, when I asked if the tacos were served with corn tortillas that were from a package or were made with flour in house nobody can answer that question for a very long time and once I did get an answer one said we make them in-house with flour and another answer was yes they are packaged so I am not sure they know only their offering and there's mass confusion on what actually gluten free is. I didn't want to chance it.

Food was really good, service wasn't. When I told the server I could not eat gluten I swear she started to roll her eyes. I decided to go with what looked like the safest gf option--the shrimp and grits. It was very tasty, and I liked the tomato sauce they use for it. Makes it different but still good (if you like tomatoes). It's a good thing we weren't in a hurry because we barely saw our server, and it wasn't even busy. It was difficult to get refills and took forever to get the check. Luckily everyone enjoyed their food, and I didn't have any gluten reaction.
menu wasn't huge for GF but good options (including deserts ). my meal was delicious. waitstaff knowledgeable / I was very comfortable eating there

Food was phenomenal! Not many GF options but the menu is marked and the staff is knowledgable.
Amen has a clearly marked GF menu with wonderful options. The waiter was helpful and the food was delicious. The cool atmosphere was a bonus.
