Review of Americana Diner

I’ve come here a few times for brunch during the week and there was a gluten free vegan option I really liked. Well they took that off the menu and I went to eat dinner there yesterday — everything marked gluten free vegan has a risk of having gluten and dairy. Staff is not educated. Asked if fries were in dedicated fryer, first waiter said yes. But the manager said no. The mashed potatoes were listed as vv/gf; they have dairy in them. Anything fried listed gf, is NOT in a dedicated fryer. But the small amount of gluten free food I’ve had here has never gotten me sick. Very expensive for a small plate of allergy friendly food that isn’t even what you asked for. I wasted so much time and money!
