They have several other locations in the Bay Area that offer a gluten free menu. They store & prepare in a separate area. They also use a special cutter that is used only for gluten free pizza. The crust is purchased from a Gluten-Free bakery. The pizzas are cooked in a separate oven. Check out the menu, they also have chicken wings. This is an edit for 2023 from my previous review. Today I had a salad which I have had in the past with no problems, but unfortunately when I got down to the bottom of my salad there was a crouton. I would beware of the salads if cc is a concern.
As someone who is very sensitive to CC, this place was great. They take all the proper precautions and I didn’t feel sick. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it for a gluten free pizza

Something for everyone. Finding a restaurant that meets my family’s varying needs can be a challenge. This met my GF needs, the vegan family and my 90+ in-laws. What a blessing. They have a dedicated GF menu and our waiter was very thoughtful, checking with us multiple times, to insure everyone’s needs were met. They clearly state their GF policy on their website and there was more options than most places. I generally find GF pizza restaurants a challenge. Too much flour all over. I have had multiple bad experiences with cross contamination but not at Amici’s. The pizza was not the best, light on toppings and on the expensive side but it met the gooey, cheesy, saucy pizza experience. I am the only one in my family with gluten intolerance and there was plenty for everyone. Many vegan vegetarian options as well. Apparently the pesto pasta was delicious. Many GF pasta options as well. Maybe next time.

This restaurant was top notch. There was a gluten free menu with lots of options. (They outlined all the precautions taken to insure no contamination) I had the pizza with the gluten free crust- it was great! My daughter tried it to compare it to her regular crust & she really couldn’t tell the difference! The ingredients were fresh & very tasty! I highly recommend Amici’s to anyone who needs to eat gluten free & anyone with you who doesn’t!

Great GF practices to avoid cross-contamination, even at the end of the meal boxing things to go! Very clear GF guidelines spelled out in a GF menu and the servers take it seriously at the first mention of wanting/needing GF considerations. Beyond that the pizza was delicious, the GF crust (only comes in 12") tasted great, and they even have daiya at no additional charge for those of us with lactose intolerance as well! Kinda pricey but oh so worth it imo

The GF practices are very good and listed clearly in the menu. The GF dough was great! I highly recommend for any celiac who wants some good pizza.

First time eating here and definitely won’t be my last. They have their own gluten free menu which include pizzas, salads and even chicken wings! I ordered a margarita pizza with bacon and it was AMAZING! They use Mariposa Bakery pizza crust for their pizzas and they explained that they have a separate kitchen area for gf foods. When I asked for a box for my leftover pizza, our server explained that he couldn’t box up my pizza because he isn’t aloud to touch “gluten free” foods, so he gave me the box to package it up. Felt extremely safe here and did not get sick!

I tested the pizza on two separate visits with my Nima tester and it came out gluten free each time!!!!

Manager asked employee to make sure he washed his hands before he even grabbed my pick up order. They really go the extra mile to be safe!
As I was leaving, I asked for a cup of ranch and the manager informed me that the ranch and blue cheese dressing were not gluten. He recommended an Italian dressing instead and it was delicious!

The crust was delicious and cooked perfectly :) my new go to gluten free/egg free crust!

The gluten free pizza crust is so good! We have relatives in the area & always have to stop in to get our Amici's pizza. Make sure you try the chilled broccoli appetizer too. You won't be sorry.
Crust is from mariposa bakery and is wonderful. The staff was great at answering my questions. When she didn't know she went and asked. Very pleased.
They are extremely well educated about cross contamination and take great pains to provide a safe dining experience. And it tastes good too!
get the gfree pizza well done, one of the best gfree pizzas you wikl ever have
Everytime I try the gluten free crust, its soggy and undercooked. Go with Extreme Pizza
Great gluten free pizza. I found them under the company name Gluten Free Pizza Garden but the box said Amici’s. Had the bbq chicken pizza and my no -GF friend couldn’t tell the difference in gluten crust. They deliver as well

This used to be our safe spot for gluten free pizza, but within the last year their procedures must have become more lenient on cross contamination. My celiac daughter consistently has stomach troubles after eating here, which is super sad. I wish people understood what people go through with cross contamination.

I’ve been coming here for years. Celiac sensitive and have never gotten sick. GF Pizza is great eaten there hot from the oven. Salads good too and GF prep station to address cross contamination potential

Good pizza. Mediocre salads. However massive cross contamination. Stay away!! My Nima sensor registered gluten despite their promises of separating kitchen area and pizza baking and changing gloves.

Warning: I ordered online delivery from Gluten Free Pizza Garden and they gave me a salad with croutons that weren’t gluten free?! When I called the number it was Amica’s. I can’t believe they are using the name “Gluten Free Pizza Garden” and it’s not all gluten free.
